Adventure Kit

An Adventure Kit is the set of gear a dog needs to head out for the day, a weekend or a road trip: something to carry it all, a way to drink and eat on the move, a first aid kit, a safe way to ride, treats, and a comfortable place to settle afterward.

We don't stock everything. We curate travel, treat and comfort essentials from selected pet, outdoor, travel, food and wellness brands, and we keep to what earns a spot in the pack.

Start with Travel Essentials, add Adventure Fuel for the road, and finish with Recovery & Wellness for the way home.

Adventure Kit FAQ

What goes in a dog adventure kit?

Think in three steps. Prepare: a bag or organizer, a portable water bottle or bowl, a first aid kit, and a comfortable way to ride. Fuel: treats and food that travel well, plus the food your dog already eats. Recover: a bed or blanket, a towel, and a quiet place to settle. Adjust the list for your dog's size, age and the kind of day you have planned.

Where should I start?

Start with a bag or organizer, a water bottle or bowl and a first aid kit. Then add treats and a comfortable bed. You can build the kit one piece at a time.

How do I choose a dog travel bag?

Match it to the trip. A carry-on size organizer suits a weekend away, and a backpack suits hands-free walks. Look for pockets for food, bowls and waste bags, and a surface that wipes clean. Check the dimensions on the product page against your vehicle before you buy.

What should I pack for water and feeding?

Bring more water than you think you need, plus a bottle or bowl your dog can drink from easily. Pack food in sealed containers, and bring the food your dog already eats so you are not changing diets mid-trip.

Does a travel kit need a first aid kit?

A first aid kit is a sensible addition to any trip, since small scrapes and surprises happen away from home. It does not replace veterinary care. Know where the nearest emergency vet is before you go, and contact a vet for anything serious.

How should my dog ride in the car?

Check the size and weight limits on any car seat, seat cover or hammock, and follow the manufacturer's instructions for setup and use. If you have questions about how your dog should travel, ask your vet.

Which treats travel well?

Look for treats that are dry, compact and easy to portion, such as freeze-dried or single-ingredient options. Read the ingredient list, introduce new treats gradually, and ask your vet about anything that may not suit your dog.

What helps a dog settle after an active day?

A dry, comfortable place to rest. Towel off sandy or wet coats, offer fresh water, and give your dog a quiet spot to settle. If your dog seems sore or unwell after activity, talk to your vet.

Will a product suit my dog?

Check the product page for size, ingredients and manufacturer details, and ask your vet about diet or health questions. We cannot give veterinary advice.
